  • The college has a huge size library maintained by computerized. It has about 7363  books. 15 Indian Educational Journals are subscribed in the library and Five International Journal is also subscribed. There is an adequate space for self – reading. The library stock and services are being computerized on Online MIS software for Library. The library has a photocopier, a functional internet terminal and 15 off-line learning CDs and 5DVDs as digital resources. The reading room can accommodate 150 students at a time. Reference services and circulations are provided in the reading room where the students enhance their knowledge by reading books. Conducive environment for studies is created in the reading room.

    The Library also provides the Open access facility for the Faculties from outside and the teachers of practice schools

    Our computerized library is extensive, well ventilated, and spacious with comfortable seating arrangements. There is well qualified and experienced librarian who manages the library. Every student is provided sufficient books according to his/her need. The library have huge collection of text & reference book, National & International Journals, Magazines,  Educational CD’s, DVDS, Data base , Video Cassette.,Digital  library,The library has quality Xerox, Clipping, Bibliographic compilation, Reference, Information display and notification, Book Bank, Automated Computerized Managing Library, Computerized & Card system of book issuing, Photocopying, Computer and Printer, Broad Band Internet Facilities,  Online access facility, Power back up, User orientation/information literacy.

    The purpose of a library is to freely disseminate knowledge. Our library is therefore operated on a need-based approach rather than the usual rules-based treatment given to students everywhere. We allow open access to the collection and encourage students to browse through the stacks when required. Stocks: Our well stocked library far surpasses the standards prescribed by the university in terms of number of books, reading hall space, illumination and other factors.

    All round development: With our continued emphasis on all round personality development, we have made it a point to include books on a variety of topics like philosophy, religion, political and social history, biographies of eminent personalities, Methodology, Pedagogy subjects English and Marathi classical literature, etc. We also have several self-help books on personality development, public speaking, improving English writing, and other similar skills. We have been sanctioned a special budget of a sizable amount to procure non-syllabi books very year.

    Automation: Our library is presently being automated and students will be able to browse through the catalogs and put claims on books from any computer in the college campus. Another ambitious feature of this automation is the capability to see the contents .pages of all books from any terminal on the network. We also plan to hookup a bar-code reader with the system to speedup circulation operations as students sometimes visit the library for transactions between lectures. Free Internet access will also be provided in the reading room .
